Jean Inez Grace was born May 1, 1931, in Corsicana and passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at Country Meadows Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Carol and James Rogers of Corsicana and son and daughter-in-law Dr. Coy and Felisa Grace of Forrest City, Ark.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Velma Barnett of Poteau, Okla. and Blanche Borden of Waco.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Grace ; parents Roma and Dave Borden; brothers Bud and David Borden; sisters Martha Holder, Roma Plant, and Evelyn Birkhead.
She married Raymond Grace Feb. 8, 1948, and they were married 57 years.
She worked at Adam Hat Factory and later as a retail clerk and manager of For Peanuts.
She developed a love of crocheting after retirement and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana.
