Johnnie Gladeen Pryor, 91, of Harker Heights, formerly of Kerens, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2013, in a Harker Heights assisted living home.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Paschal Funeral Home in Kerens.
Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. at the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana.
Mrs. Pryor was born to Rube and Maddie Collins on Aug. 28, 1922 in Angus; Navarro county and lived there until graduating from Crossroads High School.
She married her childhood sweetheart, Roy Temple Pryor on June 10, 1946, spending time all over the world through the Air Force. She was active in the Air Force Officer’s Wives Club, volunteered with community and church activities and was a dedicated homemaker.
Johnnie Pryor was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years; her parents; her brothers, Floyd “Peewee” Collins and Eddie “Corky” Collins; and her only son-in-law, William G. Bost.
She is survived by her only child, Cathy Marie Bost and her two grandchildren, Andrew G. Bost of Louisville, Ken. and Amy A. Bost of Killeen.
