Imogene Smith Jones, 86, of Dallas passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at home with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 22, 1926 in Corsicana to Ed and Lula Scoggins Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Jones of Dallas; daughter Gwendolyn Stewart; grandsons Arty Boykin and Kevin Boykin all of Dallas. She is also survived by her granddaughter Billie Jean Zelaya and great-grandson Joshua Seqovia and great-granddaughter Tori Jennings, all of Wilmer. Mrs. Jones is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary McCaleb and Rev. Jason Hilliard officiating. Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Eric A. Johnson, Rueben Lehmberg, Joshua Bamburg, Robert Crowder and Charles West. Burial will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Retreat.
