Beatrice Bell Boulware Freeman of Powell went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2013 at the age of 79 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Beatrice was born March 18, 1934 in Purdon. She attended Emhouse schools. She married Howard J. Freeman Oct. 14, 1950. They were joyfully married for 62 years. Memaw loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Nora Boulware of Powell; infant son, Howard Joe Freeman Jr. and brother, Willie Lee Boulware.
She is survived by her husband, Howard J. Freeman of Powell; daughters, Valorie Bearden and husband Dale of Powell and Betty McCoy and husband Donald of Ennis; grandchildren, Carol Gillman of Powell, Jerome Bearden of Powell, James McCoy of College Station and Jonathan McCoy of Arlington; great-grandchildren Ginger Gillman of Corsicana, Ronnie Gillman, Dale H. Bearden and Tiffany Bearden, all of Powell.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Morris Holcomb and Clayton Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Pattison Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
