Bettie Sue Wilson Crocker, resident of Alvarado and formerly of Corsicana, passed away on Wednesday evening, Nov. 27, 2013, at the age of 76.
She was born on Sunday, April 4, 1937, in Dawson, to Jeff Wilson and Erma Adams Wilson. Bettie was a housewife taking care of her family and at times babysitting children in her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Billie Joe Crocker, on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013; her son, Kenneth Crocker; her parents, Jeff and Erma Wilson, and a brother, Roy McCauley.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Herrera and husband Larry of Alvarado; grandchildren, Kevin Horn and wife Michele of Cleburne, Jennifer Hanna and husband Joey of Mildred, and Stephanie Crocker of Denton; and six great grandchildren, Abigail Horn, Shawn Horn, Chase Horn, Rusty Hanna, Lilly Hanna and Josie Hanna.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Prairie Point Cemetery in Bazette, where she and her husband will be laid to rest together.
