Pamela Hoge Lang, 55, passed away at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2014. Pamela was born Feb. 7, 1958 in Austin. She was the daughter of Walter and Diane Lang. She attended school in College Station before moving to Kerens where she graduated from Kerens High School in 1982.
Pamela was an avid sports fan closely following the Aggie football season and the Olympics. Gymnastics and ice skating were particular favorites. She regularly bowled with a Special Olympics group. She took great pleasure in recording her thoughts on the computer and in her journals. She was a people person, loving her many friends and seldom forgetting a name. She was an active member of the Kerens Presbyterian Church and participated in a Bible study class. Pamela lived at Quantum Paradigm Development in Kerens and considered her friends there as her second family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Lang, her sister Donna Kilpatrick, her grandmother Avis Coates and numerous cherished pets.
She is survived by her mother, Diane Lang, her brother Walter Lang III and sister-in-law Deann Lang plus beloved Keen cousins.
Services will be held at the Kerens Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 with Revs. Darla Blatnik and Charles A. Reese officiating. Interment will follow in the Kerens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kerens Presbyterian Church, 301 S.E. Third St., Kerens, Texas 75144 or Special Olympics, 1817 Sycamore Ave., Corsicana, Texas 75110.
