Funeral services for Wiley Clifford “Cliff” Rogers, 85, of Corsicana will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at the Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel in Seagoville with Rev. Danny Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
Known affectionately as Cliff, he was born Feb. 24, 1928 in Dallas, a son of the late J.R. and Jewell Modenia Slone Rogers and passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 in Corsicana. Cliff was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a very successful businessman through out his life. Those that knew and loved Cliff will miss him dearly and always remember the great man he was.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Jewell Rogers and four brothers, Cecil Calvin Rogers, Ernest Gifford Rogers, Wallace Odell Rogers and Billy Joe Rogers.
Those left to cherish his loving memories are his longtime spouse Marie Blythe of Corsicana, son, Ryan Bennet Rogers of Lively, grandson, Tyler Richardson of Corsicana, brother Donald Ray Rogers of Dallas, sisters, Wanda Raines of Grand Prairie, Ruth Heffington and her husband Glenn of Bradley, Okla. and Omega Correa and her husband Mickey of Corinth, 20 nieces and nephews as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and a large host of other friends.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Richardson, Ricky Rogers, Javier Correa, Dwayne Heffington, Jay Heffington and Mark Brooks.
