Ray Hodge, 95, of Houston passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012.
Ray was born June 1, 1917, in Nolan County near Sweetwater to Forrest and Eva (Sipes) Hodge. He proudly served his country during WW II and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Ray served in the Army as a Staff/Sergeant in the invasion of Italy and also in the European/North African/Middle Eastern Campaign.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his wife, Edna Ruth (Horn) Hodge in 2002.
Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Rambo of Houston.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
