Adamson didn't waste any time getting going against the Tigers on Tuesday.
Adamson (15-8) scored three goals in the first 18 minutes of the first half, took that lead into the locker room at halftime and parlayed it into a 3-1 win in the area playoffs.
The Tigers' lone goal came in the 62nd minute when Javier Orea chased down a long ball and put it off the left post from 10 yards out. Orea fished the ball out of the goal and brought it all the way back to midfield as he was congratulated by his teammates.
Adamson senior Jose Castro started the scoring when he chased down a loose ball on the right side of the Tiger defense, squared up and ripped a left foot across the box into the left corner in the 10th minute.
David Granja scored four minutes later off a penalty kick, which he put away low off the left post.
Victor Rozales added Adamson's third goal just a few minutes later on a run down the left side that he tapped in after beating the keeper.
Corsicana (9-6-6) had a few chances in the first half but couldn't capitalize against a tough defensive effort from Adamson.
