Lady Tigers slip by Midlothian

LADY TIGERS: CORSICANA 56, MIDLOTHIAN 50

The Lady Tigers used a 14-6 fourth quarter to rally past Midlothian, 56-50, on Friday night in Midlothian.

Capricia Jones scored 23 points to help the Lady Tigers rebound from Tuesday’s 66-30 loss to No. 4 Midway at Tiger Gym.

Amber Ames had 14 points and Amari Dowell had 11 points for the Lady Tigers (11-10, 3-2 in 16-4A).

The Lady Tigers trailed 44-42 entering the fourth quarter.

They led 32-26 at halftime.

The Lady Tigers will play Ennis at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Tiger Gym.
