TTAS tourney to begin Monday

— Seven Golden Circle teams are set to begin the Texas Teen-Age Softball District tournaments Monday.
The Mildred Lady Eagles and Dawson Lady Bulldogs will be competing in the Coach Pitch division for girls age 6-8 at Malakoff.
In the Midget division for girls age 8-10, both the Dawson Lady Bulldogs and Mildred Wildcats will compete at Mildred.
Mildred will have two teams playing in the girls 10-12 age Freshman division, with both the Mildred Lady Longhorns and Mildred Chix playing at Athens.
In the Junior division for girls age 12-15, the Mildred Shockers are the lone area team competing at Mabank Monday.
State tournaments for the district champions will be held at Holland for the Coach Pitch division, at Whitehouse for Midgets, at West for the Freshman division and the Juniors tournament will be held at Lindale.
