The Navarro College football program filled one of two coaching vacancies Friday.
Navarro hired San Angelo native Cody Crill as the new offensive line coach.
“Cody is really familiar with junior college football,” Bulldogs head coach Nick Bobeck said. “He is a great offensive line coach and I am really excited about having him on this staff.
“Coaching in North Carolina the last few years, he has wanted to get back home. This a good opportunity for him and I am ready for him to get started.”
Crill has spent the last three seasons as the offensive line coach at Winston-Salem State University.
A graduate of Angelo State University, Crill spent one year at Trinity Valley Community College where he served as the coach of both the offensive and defensive lines as well as the running backs and fullbacks.
Bobeck’s staff is currently short a running backs coach, a position he expects to have filled in the coming week.
