The Hubbard Lady Jaguars got back on pace Saturday, defeating Bynum on the road, 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-13, 25-12).

Senior Sara Fletcher led the Lady Jags (10-7, 5-2 District 15-1A) with nine kills in the match while Africa Lang and Angel Parham each added seven.

The Lady Bulldogs struggled against Hubbard’s serving, giving up 22 total aces.

Parham recorded six of those aces, Samantha Head had five and Fletcher four.

Parham was effective defensively as well, totaling 39 digs with Adrienne Donaldson picking up 24 and Kayla Kesen 21.

The Lady Jags will take on Mart at home Tuesday at 6 p.m.



Kopperl 3, Frost 0

The Frost Lady Polar Bears were unable to hold off a strong Kopperl squad Saturday, falling to the Lady Eagles 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-13).

The Lady Bears’ Charity Votolato and Ashley Cain each had two kills in the match with Votolato also adding two service aces.

Catherine Young finished the day with 20 digs.

Frost (9-11, 3-6 District 13-1A) will be back on the road against Italy Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
