High School Golf: Tigers win own tournament

The Corsicana Blue won the Corsicana Golf Invitational at Corsicana Country Club on Monday with a team score of 330.

Grace Community was second with a score of 339 and Waxahachie was third with a 372. The Corsicana Gold was next at 406 followed by Ennis at 431.

The Tigers’ Stephen Gegenheimer Corsicana was the medalist with a 77 and Hunter Denbow was third with an 80. Other scores for Corsicana were Heath Donica with an 85 and Hunter Donica with an 88.

The team score was the lowest shot in Corsicana in coach Mark Moore’s three years with the program.
