The Tiger tennis team found a way to squeeze in five matches in the last several days.
The Tigers went 3-1 at Richland tournament, a good result, coach Chad White said.
“We have things to work on, but we played well at times,” he said.
The Tigers defeated Fort Worth Boswell, 10-2, Weatherford, 18-1 and Euless Trinity, 16-3. They lost to Aledo, 11-5.
On Saturday, the Tigers lost to Frisco, 11-8. Frisco has been state-ranked the last couple of years, White said.
“We played well and fought, but lost 11-8,” he said. “We had many chances with six matches, split sets and played tiebreakers to decide. We lost all six of those matches.”
The Tigers are now 4-2 record for season and host Ennis at 4 p.m. Tuesday at home.
