BUFFALO — The Mildred Lady Eagles gave the 12th-ranked Franklin Lady Lions all they could handle in the first half of their Region III-2A bi-district playoff game.

Mildred trailed 38-35 at the half but Franklin was able to pull away midway through the third quarter and caught fire from the three point line in the fourth quarter.

Mildred ended the year with an 18-11 record and their first playoff appearance since the 04-05 season.

Savannah Pritchett led the Eagles with 16 points and Maddie Moore added 15 points. Senior Olivia Farmer chipped in 8 points to finish out her final season for the Lady Eagles.
