Allison Hierholzer had a monster game, and she couldn’t have picked a better time to have it.
All she did was pour in 32 points in the biggest game of the year to lead Mildred’s Lady Eagles to a 58-48 win over Onalaska in the bi-district round of the Class 2A playoffs Monday in Normangee.
It was a career-high night for Hierholzer.
“It was a huge game for her,” Mildred Coach Dale Clement said. “She really stepped up.’’
So did the rest of the Lady Eagles, who were the No. 1 seed coming out of District 23-2A. They now advance to the Area round of the playoffs.
Maddie Moore scored 13 points and Shelby Adamson dropped in eight points while Maddie Murrell added five in the win.
