Navarro Baseball: Dawgs swept in Paris

— Navarro’s undefeated conference run ended abruptly Saturday in Paris as the Dragons swept a doubleheader from the Bulldogs.

Navarro (15-8, 8-2) lost Game 1, 5-1, as the Bulldogs had only five hits. Drake Roberts had the lone RBI.

Gage Curry took the loss, allowing six hits and two earned runs in 4 2/3 innings.

The Bulldogs fell in Game 2, 4-2, as Paris snapped a 2-2 tie in the late innings. John Clay Reeves and Byron Reichstein had RBI hits for Navarro.

Zach Hobbs took the loss for the Bulldogs, allowing the tiebreaking run in the seventh inning. He allowed two earned runs in 6 2/3 innings.
