Brenna Lauren York of Corsicana and Michael Logan Butler of Killeen were joined in marriage on Nov. 9, 2013 in the chapel at Camp Forrest in Kerens.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay King of Corsicana and Mr. and Mrs. Robert York of Corsicana. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Graves of Roane, and Mrs. Sara York of Austin, and the late Mr. Edwin York. She is employed with Corsicana Independent School District as a sixth grade teacher at Drane Intermediate School.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Butler of Rochester, N.H. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Caldwell of Dover, N.H. and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Butler. He is a staff sergeant in the United States Army.
Brenna was served by her maid of honor, Jessica Byrne of Huntsville and matron of honor, Mrs. Jennifer Carter of Fairfield. Her bridesmaids were Mrs. Kelly King Brown of Corsicana, sister of the bride; Mrs. Holly White Scoggins of Corsicana, childhood friend of the bride; and Katie and Anna York of Corsicana, sisters of the bride. The flower girl was Caroline Brown, niece of the bride.
The best man was Stephen Butler of Manchester, N.H., brother of the groom, with fellow soldiers serving as groomsmen, Phillip Alberternst of Missouri, Casey Dufour of Louisiana, and Joshua Jacobsen of Oklahoma. The ring bearers were Peyton and Jaxson Brown, nephews of the bride.
The reception was held at Camp Forrest with dinner and dancing following the ceremony. Brenna and Michael will reside in Corsicana.
