Ashley Nicole Oehlke of Cuero and Joshua Paul Adams of Corsicana were joined in marriage on Feb. 22, 2013 at an outdoor ceremony joined by family and friends at Vintage Villas in Austin on Lake Travis. The outdoor wedding was set under an arbor of wildflowers overlooking Lake Travis as the sun began to set. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was given by parents of the groom at Hill Country Pasta in Austin.

Ashley is the daughter of Sharon Oehlke of Cuero. She is the granddaughter of Delia Gonzalez and the late Manuel Gonzalez of Cuero.

Josh is the son of Steven and Belinda Adams of Corsicana. He is the grandson of Oreine Adams and the late R. W. Adams of Corsicana, formerly of Cross Roads and Betty Wheat and the late Virgil Wheat of Lewisville, formerly of Corsicana.

The bride wore a beautiful Coco Anais design, a strapless satin ivory gown with a full skirt, accented by a rouched top and beaded embellishment around the waist. She wore a beautiful veil borrowed from a special friend, Jordyn Summerall. Her bouquet was made up of a mixture of Queen Anne’s lace, pink roses, succulents and hydrangeas. She was given away by her uncle, Jeff Westfahl.

Scott Summerall, childhood friend of the groom joined the couple in marriage. The Maid of Honor was Kimberly Morrison, a childhood friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lauren Hulin, Emily Daniel and Bridesman Marshall Aitkens, all childhood friends of the bride, and Tracy Myers, a friend of both the bride and groom.

Serving as the Best Men were Matt and Daniel Adams, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Derek Diaz de Leon and Steven Johnson, both childhood friends of the groom. Ushers were Justin Gonzalez and Corbin Hinojosa, both cousins of the bride. Scott Summerall II led the entrance of the bride and her uncle to guitar music played by Stephen Bright.

A reception followed the ceremony with dinner and a dance at Vintage Villas on Lake Travis. The dinner and reception was decorated in a vintage theme with an assortment of vintage glassware. Draped cloths as well as clear lights served as the backdrop for the dinner and reception. Entertainment was provided by a DJ. Assorted desserts were served, along with a Button cake, following a fajita dinner. Clothed tables were decorated with Mason jars filled with candles along with an assortment of wildflowers. Jordyn Summerall and Jill Barlett, friends of the bride and groom served as the house party for the dinner and reception.

Ashley is a graduate of Mountain View Community College with a degree in Health Management and is employed by Cornerstone Dental.

Josh is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Advertising and is employed with Ivie Incorporated.

The bride and groom enjoyed a beautiful honeymoon in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
