Jennifer Rhodes of Rice and Bob Peters, also of Rice, were united in matrimony on Sept. 1, 2012 at Camp Forrest in Kerens. Tony Stephens performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bryan and Paulette Hiler of Frost. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert H. Peters III of Orwigsburg, Pa.
Danielle Wellborn, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tez Warren-Fraim, Amanda Perry, Kim Martinez, and Steffanie Merz. Brooklyn Wellborn, friend of the bride, and Emily Mickalonis, niece of the groom, served as flower girls.
The groom was served by his best man, Ambros Martinez, and groomsmen John Neubauer, Scott Mickalonis, brother-in-law, Anthony Merz and Bryan Hiler, brother of the bride. Ushers were Randy Long and Darren Goode.
The bride chose a full-length all over lace A-line gown with beaded motif detailing, with a fingertip-length veil, two-tiered with a beaded, scalloped edge, and beaded flowers and sequins. Her bouquet was made of purle and white picasso with calla lilies.
The outdoor wedding was highlighted with bells of Ireland, lavender roses, white lilies, purple hydrangea and purple daisy poms. Songs performed included “All My Life,” “You Raise Me Up,” the Bridal March and “God Gave Me You.”
Guests were present from Texas, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Massachusetts, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, S. Carolina, Missouri and Spain.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon destination of Playa del Carmen. They are now at home in Rice, and Jennifer is employed by Community National Bank and Trust in Corsicana, while Bob is the owner of HQI Contractors Inc.
