The afternoon weather forecast update for Navarro County still includes the possibility of some snow, although little in the way of accumulation is expected.

At 3 p.m., most of the snowfall in north Texas remained west of the area. Radar images showed a small area of mixed precipitation in the western part of Navarro County, although some sleet was observed in Corsicana during the 2 p.m. hour.

Tonight...Rain or snow in the evening...then a chance of rain or snow after midnight. Very light snow accumulations possible on grass and elevated surfaces. Temperatures steady in the mid 30s. East winds around 5 mph shifting to the southeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.

Wednesday...Mostly cloudy. A 30 percent chance of rain or snow in the morning. Patchy fog in the morning. No snow accumulation. Highs in the mid 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night...Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. West winds around 5 mph.

Thursday...Cloudy. Highs in the lower 50s. Northwest winds around 5 mph becoming north at 10 mph 10 to 15 mph by noon.
