7:55 p.m.:  The Tigers had another surprise up their sleeve, and this one backfired. They tried an onside kick, Bastrop recovered, and two plays later Monroe scored from 16 yards out. 2Q, 5:17, Tigers 13, Bastrop 10

7:50 p.m.: The fake punt attempt breathes new life into the Tigers, and Cameron Washington goes 53 yards down the right sideline. The Tigers go for two out of the swinging gate, don’t get it, and it’s now 13-3. Washington has 147 yards and two TDs. 2Q, 5:48, Tigers 13, Bastrop 3

7:46 p.m.:  Phil Castles is a mad man. The Tigers just attempted a fake punt at their 1, and a pass interference call on the pass gave them a first down at their 16. It’s keeping the defense off the field. 2Q, 7:00, Tigers 7, Bastrop 3

7:42 p.m.: The Tigers make a huge stop on a fourth and goal from the 1. Josiah Monroe was stuffed on two plays from the 1. Bastrop has run 37 plays, has nine first downs and has had two first and goals. 2Q, 9:00, Tigers 7, Bastrop 3

7:37 p.m.: On the next to last play of the first quarter, Dominic Kelly was stopped short on a fourth and 1, and Bastrop takes over. 2Q, 12:00, Tigers 7, Bastrop 3

7:29 p.m.: Hart McMillan boots a 24 yard field goal, and Bastrop is on the board. The drive started at the Tigers 45, and the Bears had a first and goal. 1Q, 2:27, Tigers 7, Bastrop 3.

7:17 p.m.: Bastrop was driving behind the arm and legs of QB Josiah Monroe, but the Tigers’ Myron Glover stepped in front a red zone slant for a critical interception with 7:20 left in the first. The Tigers have the ball for the third time. 1Q, 6:37, Tigers 7, Bastrop 0

7:05 p.m.: The Tigers needed one play to take a 7-0 lead in their bi-district tilt with Bastrop. Cameron Washington took a stretch dive off right tackle for 72 yards. Steven Mrazek nailed the extra point. Tigers 7, Bastrop 0
