Cowboy Church of Corsicana hosts Men's Breakfast Oct. 17
The Cowboy Church of Corsicana will host a Men's Breakfast Saturday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 a.m. Members and their pastor, Derek Rogers, invite everyone to Sunday morning services at 10 a.m.

Tribal Meeting Oct. 17
A Tribal Meeting will be hosted by Chief Joseph Standing Bear Morales from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at Groesbeck City Park. Chief Standing Bear will speak on culture, explaining of why the circle is important to American Indians. There will also be a prayer ceremony, drumming and chanting. Everyone is invited to gather in the circle.
Guests are asked to bring a side dish for the potluck lunch, bring chairs, and wear your mask as required by the city.

First Independent Baptist Church will observe its 152nd anniversary with a dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at Bethlehem Fellowship Hall and special service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 at 409 N. Third St., Corsicana.

James L. Collins Catholic School will host its annual Bears & Bogeys Golf Tournament at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8:00am at the Oaks Golf Course. All proceeds go toward assisting students at JLCCS. Salvation Army hosts virtual event, donations accepted through Oct. 19
The Salvation Army of Corsicana will host a virtual annual event at noon Friday, Oct. 23.

The Navarro County Bar Association and the City of Corsicana will host a Candidates Forum at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 at The Palace Theatre.

Greater Wilgo Baptist Church, where Rev. A.D. Franks is pastor, will host its second produce/food giveaway at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at 621 E. First Ave. Everyone is welcome to drive by and a box of food will be placed in the trunk of your vehicle.

American Red Cross Blood Drive Nov. 5
St. Luke United Methodist Church will host a blood drive from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 in its fellowship hall at 2308 Bowie Dr. in Corsicana.
Donors are encouraged to make an appointment to give blood now to help ensure coronavirus patients and others who depend on transfusions have needed blood products this fall.
A photo ID or Red Cross Donor Card is required, and all donors must wear a mask or face covering during their donation.
All presenting donors will receive a $5 Amazon Gift card via email.
