Angelita Vineyard & Winery, Navarro County’s first and only vineyard and winery, is the place to be this summer.

Live music, comedy shows and of course, award-winning wines will make your summer sizzle.

This Saturday, see London Lawhon perform live from 6 to 7 p.m.

On Sunday, catch a performance by Veronica Reyes from 2 to 4 p.m.

Celebrate the summer solstice – the longest day of the year, June 21 while watching the sun set and enjoying Dinner on the Vineyard from 7 to 9 p.m.

In addition to these and other events, the vineyard will celebrate its five year anniversary July 20 from 12 to 8 p.m.

Learn about grape harvesting and experience an old fashioned grape stomp during their fifth annual Harvest Party July 27 beginning with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Live music will be enjoyed from 1 to 3 p.m.

Angelita Vineyard & Winery is located in Angus, just south of Corsicana. The winery offers a variety of red, white, blush and sparkling wines.

Visitors may sit inside or outside enjoying wine tasting or by the glass or bottle complete with appetizers while viewing the beautiful Texas sunset over several acres of Blanc Du Bois vines.

Their Blanc du Bois Reserve, a dry white wine, was awarded the 2014 Lone Star International Wine Competition Bronze Medal for limited production and one for Texas wine.

Angelita's Texas Vendetta, a blend of Merlot, Ruby Cabernet and Cab Franc, is a gold medal winner for Texas, and a Silver Medal winner for Limited Production at the International Lone Star Wine Competition in 2018.
