Blooming Grove United Methodist Church will hold its Lord's Acre from 10:30 to 1 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Blooming Grove Methodist Church. The Country Store and Silent Auction will be open till noon. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with take-outs starting at 10:30 a.m. The meal will consist of brisket, potato salad, beans, slaw, dessert and tea. Adult meals are $10 and $7 for children 10 and under. The live auction will begin in the sanctuary at 1 p.m.

Kerens First United Methodist Church will host its 48th Annual Lord's Acre beginning with a bake sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at the KESA building. Everyone is invited for a day of food, fun, fellowship. The bake sale will have lots of homemade baked goods, breads, candies, pies and canned goods.
