Rusty Hitt, Chief Executive Officer of Community National Bank and Trust of Texas, announced that Les Leskoven has been elected to the bank’s board of directors.
Serving as CNBT’s Executive Vice President and Chief Investment/Trust Officer, Leskoven has been at the bank for 21 years, with over 40 years in the banking industry.
He has managed the Trust and Investment Department since 2002. Additionally, he holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation from the American Bankers Association Institute of Certified Bankers.
Leskoven earned a Bachelor's of Business in Administration in Economics from Baylor University and is a trust graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
He is an active member of the community and has served on numerous boards, including the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco, First United Methodist Church of Corsicana and United Way of Navarro County.
“We are happy to have Les serve on our board. His industry knowledge and experience are a great asset to the team,” Hitt said.
Community National Bank and Trust of Texas has over $750 million in assets with 15 locations across Texas.
