Kerens Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident Tuesday, Sept. 10 on Highway 31.
According to a Facebook post from KVFD, the driver reported he dropped his iced tea and looked away for a brief second, veering off the road.
The vehicle hit the guard rail causing it to roll several times landing upright in the outside lane.
“The driver was wearing his seat belt and was not injured,” said Kerens VFD Chief Bush. “This is why it is important to always wear your seat belt.”
