A one-vehicle crash Wednesday near Frost left five young adults hospitalized, one with life-threatening injuries.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11. on FM 667, about five miles south of Frost in Navarro County.
The preliminary investigation shows that a tan 1999 Ford F-150 pickup was traveling north on FM 667 when, for an undetermined reason, the pickup drove off the right side of the road then back across the road into the left bar ditch where it rolled multiple times. The pickup came to rest in a pasture on its left side.
The driver, 19 year-old, Cydney Rios, of Corsicana was transported by ambulance to Hillcrest Hospital, in Waco, with life-threatening injuries. The following passengers, 20 year-old, Gage McGraw, of Blooming Grove; 20 year-old, Jodie Fouts, of Purdon; 21 year-old, Justin Cagle, of Frost; and 23 year-old, Lucas Cheek, of Purdon, were all transported by ambulance to Hillcrest Hospital in Waco with injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no other information available at this time.
