The Navarro County Grand Jury met for January and returned 74 indictments against 57 individuals.

The Grand Jury indicted Steffanie Lynn Holloway, 42, for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.

She was first arrested Tuesday, Dec. 17 after she led multiple agencies on a high-speed chase that started in Rice and ended in Dallas.

Holloway led police through Dallas, swerving in and out of traffic and running through a four-way stop, traveling at around 100 miles per hour before finally surrendering in the Southern Methodist University parking lot.

The jury also indicted Nathan Dale Medina for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.

He was arrested Nov. 20 after trying to evade Richland Police Officers, trying to strike them with a vehicle. Officers fired at the suspect, shooting him in the hand.

The Texas Rangers investigated the officer involved shooting and presented their report to the Grand Jury in December where they absolved the Richland police officer for any criminal responsibility for the shooting.
