GLAMtime Salon and Boutique, a unique beauty and glamour experience, combines years of experience for an irresistible shop on Beaton in time for holiday shopping.
Shelley Jennings, owner of the Lash and Beauty House at 620 N. Beaton, has purchased the Artistic Edge business space from Amanda Blackman with the intent to combine the features of both businesses into a one-stop shop that covers all of a customer's glam beauty shopping needs.
“I'm very excited for this opportunity and new journey,” said Jennings who has been in business for 20 years and has done lash extensions for 17 years. “We're going to be a GLAM squad.”
GLAMtime will offer full service hair, massage, facials, lash and esthetic salon with the newest clothing, shoes, accessories and gifts available in Corsicana.
Blackman, the seven other stylists, and the massage therapist from Artistic Edge will all make the transition into the new business venture to provide locals with the the same quality beauty care that had won Artistic Edge the “Best of the Best” award five years in a row.
“We'll be a place that you can shop and get your hair and lashes done,” Blackman said.
In the new location, the business will expanded to 4,200 square feet, and offer trending looks in cardigans, soft plaids, creative jeans, shoes and jewelry, in addition to skin care products, bath items, candles and mugs.
The shop will also carries metal signs from JJ Fabrications, including custom orders, which have been featured at Pottery Barn in Dallas.
The business will shift from the 620 N. Beaton location to 214 N. Beaton, next to Mita’s Coffee to be ready to participate in Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30. Jennings plans to offer some opening specials and other excitement in-store on that day.
The salon is currently open, having a “soft opening” of its new business on Nov. 26. The store will also be ready for the “Black Friday” shopping event.
The official grand opening of GLAMtime Salon and Boutique is planned for early January 2020.
