Kerens Police arrested a man Monday, July 1 for felony amount of marijuana and THC oil during a traffic stop.

Officer Ray Ivy pulled over Jacob Jennings, from Louisiana, on Highway 31 for speeding.

Ivy smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and called for Navarro County Deputy Vanloocke as back up.

Police searched Jenning's car and found a felony amount of marijuana and THC oils.

Jennings was booked into Navarro County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana over five ounces but under five pounds and possession of a controlled substance over four grams but under 400 grams.

His bond was set at $125,000.
