Elegant, comfortable, laid back and real,

Stage plays, ghost walks, wonderful meals.

We're western on the outskirts,

Stylish in downtown.

Trains run through us constantly,

With lonesome far away sounds.

We're innately humble, strait-laced and oh so funny,

Built on dreams of oilfield money.

Air shows, cook-offs, rodeos and parades,

Cowboy churches built for those, the rowdy and swayed

Were Lefty Frizzell and Bonnie and Clyde

The good, the mean, the tossed aside.

Patriotic eco-friendly, we run for the cause,

We're vineyards, museums and tiger claws.

There's magic in brick streets where old memories play,

Ask the old folks they'll tell you its the Corsicana way.
