The Corsicana City Council has scheduled a workshop for 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Government Center conference room, followed by a 6 p.m. regular agenda meeting in the council chambers.

In the workshop, council members will again discuss several code enforcement areas, including banners, satellite dishes, fences in front yards, bamboo, specific use permits for manufactured homes, and windows in the downtown district.

On the regular agenda,  the council will hold public hearings on the reestablishment of the city’s Daytime Juvenile Curfew ordinance, and regarding abandonment of drainage and utility easements located on South 10th Street from 12th Avenue to 13th Avenue, and consider approving ordinances for both items.

Council will also consider canceling the May 10 General Election since both Tom Wilson and Ruby Williams, whose council seats were up for a vote this year, are unopposed on the ballot; consider a policy on license plates for exempt city vehicles, and authorizing the city manager to make all project decisions on the Lake Halbert Water Treatment Plant to comply with TCEQ regulations, since the engineer of record on the project passed away.
