Corsicana Masonic Lodge will have a stated meeting at 7:30 p.m. An interesting presentation of the history of the Corsicana Lodge will be given by Buddy Wigley in two parts with one-half given at this meeting and the other half given in April. Corsicana Art League will meet at 6 p.m. at the Senior Activity Center. Members will vote on new officers and the new logo for the organization. Plans are underway for a show at Pocket Park in downtown Corsicana. Brochures for the juried art show are now available and several field trips are planned for the future. All are invited.



Piecemakers’ Quilt Guild will have its regular meeting at Westhill Church of Christ. Visitors are welcome. Fellowship time will start at 9:30 a.m. and the business meeting will start at 10 a.m. The March program will be a demonstration from Quilts ‘n More located in Midlothian. This group will also bring some items to sell.

Special guest will be retired Dallas Police Detective Elmer “Sonny” Boyd, who was assigned to the Lee Harvey Oswald case in 1963. Blooming Grove Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. at Blooming Grove Fire Station. Speakers will be Blooming Grove Mayor Alva L. Smith and Blooming Grove Police Chief Phillip Story. Light refreshments will be served.



Chatfield-Tupelo Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. at the Chatfield-Tupelo Community Center, Farm-to-Market Road 1603. The speakers will be Judith Pritchett, Rice Independent School District superintendent, and Larry Baer, Rice ISD director of finance. They will be speaking about the upcoming bond election. American Red Cross will have its Corsicana monthly blood drive from 12:30 to 6 p.m. at the Navarro Shrine Building, 323 N. Commerce. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good general health and have a photo ID.
