From Staff Reports

The Palace Theatre has announced the formation of the Palace Theatre Food and Wine Club, a series of culinary and wine events that will feature renowned wine makers and chefs from all over the world. As one of its yearly fund-raisers, the Palace plans for the Corsicana Food and Wine Club to offer a wide array of culinary delights and unique wines to please its members.

Membership is limited to 70 people and is currently open to the community to join. For a $100 per person membership fee, the club’s members will have the opportunity to attend a minimum of four yearly events with reserved membership seating. Each culinary or wine event will be individually priced and members will have first option to attend the event before it is opened to the public.

The first event for the Corsicana Food and Wine Club will be May 13. The club will welcome Joy Anne Sterling from the Iron Horse Ranch and Vineyards in California, the coolest, foggiest part of the Russian River Valley. Sterling, a world traveler, author, and second generation representative of Iron Horse, will surely fascinate the attendees with her stories, wine making philosophy, and selection of distinctive Iron Horse wines.

For more information on the Corsicana Food and Wine Club, contact the Palace Box Office, (903) 874-7792. When the club’s 70 memberships are sold out, one will have the option of being placed on a waiting list in case individual seats become available for any event.
