The Warehouse Living Arts Center Youth Theatre Company will present "The Twelve Daze of Christmas" It's Christmas-time and all Alice wants to do is just sing one of her favorite holiday songs, "The Twelve Days of Christmas." But after just a few words, Alice realizes that when she sings, the characters in the popular holiday tune begin to come to life. With each verse, Alice unleashes a wacky stream of characters that are far from what most people envision when singing "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Performances begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 and 6 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 7 and 8. The City of Kerens will host its celebrate Christmas event starting at 5 p.m. in downtown Kerens sponsored by the Kerens Community Development Committee. Free chili dinner will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. at the KESA building. Christmas tree will be lit at 7 p.m. Guests will be able to take pictures with Santa Claus in the KESA building.
Festival of Lights Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. in downtown Corsicana
Dawg Days of Dawson will present Christmas in the Park. The event will feature a community dinner, photos with Santa, music, Parade of Lights and a chili cook-off and vote for favorite chili. The deadline for the chili cook-off is Nov. 29. For the community dinner there is a charge of $5 for bowl of chili, bread, dessert and water or $15 for unlimited chili dinner. The chili cook judges’ first place and People’s Choice will be announced that evening.
