The RE/MAX Skydiving Team is returning to Corsicana for the second time to perform at the 21st Annual Corsicana AirSho at noon Sept. 7. The nationally acclaimed RE/MAX Skydiving Team is famous for its aerial Presentation of Colors at outdoor events across America.

Al Saylor, captain of the RE/MAX Skydiving Team, and his teammates will jump from above the crowd and float down with red, white and blue streamers as they come in, and the last jumper will bring in the American Flag.

They perform at air shows, NASCAR, pro-football and many other events across the country. They are ambassadors of the sport of skydiving and representing RE/MAX.

“RE/MAX is very engaged in aviation promotion,” said Jeff Smith, team member. “From Texas Motor Speedway to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, leaping from a plane at 4,500 feet into a 120 mph free fall is always a thrill. They also enjoy interaction with the crowds. They love to talk to people and sign autographs and especially enjoy the kids.”

Following the RE/MAX Skydiving Team will be many events including Radial Rumble Airshows, Curt Richmond Airshows, Randy Henderson Texas T-Cart Airshows and first time ever in Corsicana, Kate Kyer Aerobatics and many other events.

Make time ahead of the skydiving performance to tour “That’s All, Brother” the iconic World War II C-47 that led the D-Day airborne invasion of Normandy when more than 800 C-47s dropped more than 13,000 paratroopers of the 101st and the 82nd Airborne Divisions behind enemy lines into a battle that changed the course of mankind.

The 21st Annual Corsicana AirSho gates open at 8:30 a.m. at the Corsicana Municipal Airport, C. David Campbell Field in Corsicana. $10 per person or $20 per carload. Military personnel and their families get in free.

Vendors, food and drinks and lots to see. Bring your chair or a blanket to sit on and enjoy the show.
