It was a packed house at the Corsicana Public Library Tuesday, June 11 as children and parents came to see the Creature Teacher.

With library staff expecting another huge turnout for Snake Encounters with Daryl Sprout next Tuesday, June 18, the library asks parents of older children to allow them to attend independently to ensure that there is room for everyone.

“We don't want to make our Fire Chief hot under the collar, so we are going to ask parents of school age children, who can sit independently, to have a cup of coffee, browse books and relax for a bit,” said Corsicana Public Library director Marianne Wilson. “We want to make sure that the children get to see the program, even if you might not.”
