Letter to the editor photo

To the Editor, This letter is written for the memory of my father, who passed away in 2016 after receiving massive injuries acquired after a drunk driver of a pickup truck coming down the wrong way, ran into my father.

My father was knocked completely out of his lane. After a short time, my father passed away due to his injuries.

My cousins, which I still have a lot there in Blooming Grove, never notified me that my father had passed. No one told me a thing. I was in prison at the time for a DWI and sentenced to 25 years.

The man that ran into my father only received eight years probation, all this, daddy did not drink and was not drunk at the time of the accident. The man who hit him had liquor as well as drugs in his truck.

I am sending this letter to newspapers as I cannot receive help from anyone at all.

John Jackson and myself had came to an agreement to settle on the insurance, but the lawyer canceled the payment on the check and I have not heart a word since. As far as the settlement with John Jackson, no other attorney, no one, has contacted me in anyway.

Please help me in any way you can.
