Summer is drawing to a close even though it doesn’t feel like it. The 15th Annual Kerens Cotton Harvest Festival is just a month away now and vendor spaces are starting to fill up fast so if you want one don’t delay. I have vendor forms at the library and they are also online at Kerens Cotton Harvest Festival 2019.
It’s going to be another great day in downtown Kerens with food, arts and crafts, and music on Saturday, Oct.
We have the latest books from Nora Roberts, Janet Evanovich, J.A. Jance, David Baldacci, Daniel Silva, James Patterson, Kim Casey Cobb, Gary Sanise, David McColluoch, and Mark Levin.
We also have a copy of the book by the late local storyteller John David Seale titled “Legends And Lies: A Book of Short Stories.” Come in and read some great books both fiction and non-fiction.
The board of directors are working on some new programs for children and I will keep all informed as the details progress.
I will have more exciting news for those that grew up around here in my next column so watch out for it.
Once again, I say come visit this great small town library.
Don’t have a library card for you and your children? I can take care of that in just a few minutes for only $1 per card. Come see us.
