The City's General Fund ended the year with revenues up $593,912, and expenses down $771,130. Sales tax was up 9.1%. Funds have already been committed to some projects, such as fixing drainage of the general land office, and improvements to the two business parks on E. Hwy 31 and south of Interstate 45.


The Corsicana City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9 in the Council Chambers of the Government Center at 200 N. 12th St. A work session will be held prior to the meeting at 5 p.m. in Conference Room.
