Members of the Texas Veterans Day Parade Board held their 2020 awards ceremony Monday, Dec. 21, at the First Baptist Church in Corsicana and via zoom. Bill McNutt, Founder and Chairman of the parade committee acted as emcee for the evening.
The City of Corsicana announced Tuesday, Nov. 17, that the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and Christmas Parade, have been cancelled. Also announced was the cancellation of the dedication of Navarro County’s Gold Star Memorial and Medal of Honor Banquet planned for Nov. 23. The ceremony and banquet will be postponed until next year.

He will flip the coin prior to the game at Tiger Stadium in Corsicana and present the Medal of Honor trophy.

Saturday's Texas Veterans Parade has been canceled due to the threat of severe weather. The sold out Medal of Honor Banquet will continue as scheduled Friday evening.
