Police arrested a 25-year-old woman Sunday on arson charges following a structure fire in the 400 block of S. 18th St. in Corsicana.

A house fire Sunday evening on West Highway 22 displaced two women and left three dogs dead. Multiple Volunteer Fire Departments, Corsicana Fire Rescue, Corsicana Police, Navarro County Sheriff’s Office and Texas DPS responded to the structure fire around 7:30 p.m. just inside the Corsicana city limits.

Engine One will go into service later this month with a small, informal “Push In” Ceremony to be scheduled. The Push-In ritual dates back to the 1800s when horse drawn pumpers were used throughout the nation's Fire Service.

The Corsicana Fire Department contained a structure fire Sunday, March 3, to the attic of building five of the Northwood Village apartments.

A house fire Friday morning in Kerens claimed the life of a woman.

A large explosion damaged multiple utility vehicles Thursday night at Brinson Powersports at 1931 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Corsicana. No injuries or structural damage were reported. The business was closed at the time and the damaged property was secured behind a locked fence.

An SUV rollover accident left a man hospitalized and shut down traffic around 8:45 a.m. Friday in the 3600 block of North Business Highway 45 about a mile North of Hardy Ave.

Despite the burn ban which has been in place since early July, Saturday was a busy day for firemen from across the county.

All Corsicana Fire Department stations responded Tuesday night to contain a structure fire to a vacant building.
