Navarro volleyball coach Wally Brooks added a late signing to his recruiting class for the upcoming season.

The Lady Bulldogs inked 5-foot-6 setter Tirisha Dirmeyer of Cibola High School in Albuquerque, N.M.

Dirmeyer was an Class 5A All-State and a first team all-district selection during her senior season.

“I looked at other schools, but liked coach Brooks,” Dirmeyer said. “The campus here is beautiful and I am looking forward to it.”

Dirmeyer played club volleyball for the Albuquerque Rebels for coach Vanessa Perez.

Brooks said that Dirmeyer will be an asset to his team this season, which returns three players from last year’s team, including leading hitter Tracey Rosenauer.

Brooks said that he has one more spot to fill before his roster is complete.

Dirmeyer’s sister Sarah plays volleyball for Adams State College in Colorado.
