Frost's Kinsley Fuller, seen here hitting a drive against Dawson in a first-round game at the Kiwanis Classic, was named to the 19-2A girls basketball first-team, and she also earned all-district All-Academic honors along with seven other Frost players.

The Frost Lady Polar Bears played in the season finale Tuesday night in Itasca.

Well, that’s what the schedule says.

But the Lady Bears are far from done after finishing the District 19-2A race in a four-way tie for second place.

The Kerens LadyCats, who wrapped up a perfect 10-record in the 19-2A race with a victory Tuesday, are the district champs, but that’s the only thing that has been settled.

Frost, Cayuga, Italy and Itasca are all tied for second-place, and the entire logjam must be settled by Saturday.

Here’s the answer.

Frost will play Cayuga at 7 p.m. Friday in the Mildred gym and Italy and Itasca will play Friday night in the Frost gym.

Then on Saturday the two winners will play and the two losers will play in a doubleheader, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Corsicana High Tiger Gym.
