Corsicana sophomore Anthony Young missed the Ennis game with an injury, but the Tigers, who had a bye week this week, expect the tailback to return Friday when they open the playoffs against Braswell with a healthy backfield.

Corsicana's Tigers will play Braswell in the opening round of the Class 5A DII playoffs at 7 p.m. Friday at Denton's Collins Stadium (1500 Long Road, Denton).

The Tigers (7-3) enter the bi-district playoff game as the No. 3 seed from District 8-5A and play Braswell, which tied for the District 5-5A title with Frisco and enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed because of a 33-28 loss to Frisco.

The Bengals (that's right, it's a playoff between Tigers and Bengals) haven't lost since that close defeat to Frisco and bring a seven-game winning streak and a high octane offense into the playoffs.

Braswell is 8-2 for the season and defeated Denison 47-18 Friday night to wrap up a 7-1 run through the District 5-5-A race.

Braswell is 8-2 for the season after going 7-1 in the district race.
