Kinsley Fuller, seen here from a match last year, led Frost in the season opener Tuesday with 11 kills, nine digs and three aces.

The Frost Lady Polar Bears are expecting a big season from a talented and seasoned  group of players who have been a regular in the playoffs every season they have played for Frost.

That's one reason coach Elaine Woods has a tough schedule, and the Lady Bears started 2019 off against state power Abbott in their season opener Tuesday.

The Frost girls played well in a four-set loss, winning the first set and playing Abbott tough all night in a 25-14, 23-25, 22-25, 16-25 loss.

Frost was led by Kinsley Fuller, who had 11 kills, nine digs and three aces, and Sydney Woods, who had 23 assists, four digs, two kills and two aces.

Lexis Banks had six kills, two blocks and an ace, Kyra Cerda had four kills, 11 digs, two blocks and six aces, Haley Moss had three kills and two blocks and Maddy Whitley had five digs.
