Corsicana's Lady Tigers took care of business, defeating Cleburne in four sets (25-21, 24-26, 25-16, 26-24) Friday for their first district win.

Paige Franks led the way with 19 kills and 19 digs, and she also had seven assists to go with a 2.4 serve-receive rating.

Nayeli Lara had 16 kills, three aces, 13 digs and a 2.24 serve-receive rating. Claire Johnson led the team in assists with 25 and had four aces, 14 digs and a kill.

Iriadna Sifuentes led the defense with 29 digs and had a 2.12 serve-receive rating, and Lara Bwcheilug had 24 digs and also handed out 16 assists to go along with four aces and two kills.

Madison Depugh had a big night with seven kills, three aces, five digs and a block. Brinly Burke had three kills and 2.0 serve-receive rating and Destiny Bailey had three kills and two blocks. Kayla Esa had a 3.0 serve-receive rating and Blair Dunn had a kill.

The Lady Tigers are at home at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday against Midlothian.
