Three Golden Circle volleyball teams made it to the postseason and begin play this week.
Kerens battled all year and won the fourth spot in the district race to make it to the postseason for the seventh season in a row, and Frost had a sensational year and entered the postseason as a No. 1 seed. This is the ninth consecutive postseason berth for Elaine Woods' team.
Mildred won it’s play-in game against Palmer on Saturday to make it to the Class 3A playoffs for the second season in a row.
Mildred will face state-ranked West at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night in the 3A bi-district round.
Frost and Kerens opened play Monday.
Kerens drew a tough opponent and faced state-ranked Iola Monday night in Fairfield in a Class 2A bi-district match.
Frost, which won 22 games this season, including 14 in the district race, entered the Class 2A playoffs as a No. 1 seed and met fourth-seeded Waco Rapoport in Axtel in the bi-district round.
